Performance Management, Compensation & HR Analytics Manager
Our client is small bank here in Singapore. With over 100 folks here in Singapore. Looking for a HR Professional who is competent in the C&B/HR Analytics area. Responsibilities: Compensation: He/She develops employee compensation programs, performance management policies, frameworks and compensation structures, ensuring aligment with the organization total reward philosophy. He/She plans, evaluates, and administers employee compensations such as salaries, short‐term incentives, He/She conducts market benchmarking and industry trend analysis to ensure that the Bank's compensation structure and programmes are in line with the market. A good knowledge of Singapore payroll principles and regulations to oversee the Payroll function. Benefits: He/She develop and administer non‐monetary compensation to enhance the organization's employee value proposition. He/She designs and implement benefits that would meet the needs of the workforce, based on relevant employee inputs and market data received from the Talent Acquisition process. HR Analytics: He/She deploys a range of data mining tools and analytical techniques to create management information, HR insights, to feed into the decision making process. He/She performs data analysis and shares insights with the team. He/She is responsible for the annual employee manpower budget, headcount, statutory reports, and surveys. In addition, he/she will support HR Risk and Compliance initiatives and reporting. The incumbent thrives in a team environment and is comfortable communicating with various stakeholders within and beyond the team. He/She possesses an analytical mind and is able to derive insights from data, leveraging them to address issues and derive solutions to work challenges. Tasks/Main Responsibilities Performance Management Plan organization widecommunications to inform employees and people managers about performance reviews and timelines. Provide support or respond to employees and/or people managers enquires relating to the performance management system. Maintain proper records of performance reviews and ensure sensitive information are securely stored or destroyed for privacy and confidentiality. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of performance management system and its related communications efforts by analyzing data and feedback and developing continuous improvement actions. Compensation Management Oversight of Payroll Management. Benchmark organisation's compensation and benefits programmes against industry practices/market to ensure that compensation and benefits programmes remain relevant for the business and is market‐ competitive. Gather and analyse employee feedback on organisation's benefits schemes for review purposes Resolve issues or address questions related to payroll policies and procedures to ensure workforce are paid in accordance with agreed employment terms and conditions. Translate compensation structure through employee feedback and external industry analysis to ensure that compensation remain relevant for the business and is market-competitive. Formulate communications to share organisation's compensation and benefits policies with emploees Analytics and Insights Apply data governance concepts and principles to identify, collect and prepare data for analytics and HR metrics benchmarking. Resolve data availability and data quality challenges with data cleansing techniques. Develop insightful presentation derived from data analytics and HR metrics benchmarking using dashboards or data visualization tools. Derive relevant insights from analysis and recommend enhancements to the organization's HR practices taking into consideration the business context and operating environment. Labour Policies and Legislation - HR Risks and Compliance Support HR Risk and Compliance initiatives and reporting. HR Operations, Benefit Administration & Payroll Manager
Our client is small Bank here in Singapore. Lean HR team that supports over 100 people here in Singapore. Very Hands on role and seeking for a seasoned HR Operations person. Part of the Shared services business This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining processes that support strategic HR initiatives for the various HR subfunctions. He/She handles HR administrative matters in relation to payroll, leave, training, credit card, expatriate management, maintaining updated records of human resource information e.g., organization chart and onboarding / offboarding records. He/She is responsible for employee data management, ensuring data integrity and quality. A key function will be to manage the full cycle of monthly and annual payroll (including tax) processes which includes the preparation, review, facilitating the approval process and reporting of salary payments. The incumbent will also oversee the reception to ensure smooth operations. The HR Operations thrives in a team environment and is comfortable communicating with various stakeholders within and beyond the team. Team Leadership role with the management of a small team. Responsibilities: HR Manager for Singapore within the specialist inter-dealing broking industry (voice and electronic). - Provide a proactive HR service to the Senior Management and Regional MD's of Singapore and be their first point of contact in the HR department. - Anticipate and respond to the needs of the Management team, combining own knowledge and expertise with the available HR and other resources to provide sound, pragmatic solutions to the needs of the business. - Ensure HR support is effectively and efficiently provided to all businesses, which consists of approximately 300 employees located across the Singapore entities. - Provide guidance and support to the other members of the HR team. - Work effectively with other functions to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. - Provide a hands-on, day-to-day HR service to Senior Management. - Maintain and build relationships with employees and management on both a local and global scale through regular and open communication. - Ensure HR processes (such as the joiner, leaver and transfer processes), systems and records are managed slickly and are maintained to the highest standards so that reporting, business and all regulatory requirements are met. - Confidently deal with and lead complex employee relations issues in Singapore independently - including advising managers of any legal and regulatory boundaries in order to minimise both financial and reputational risk to the business. - Work closely with local payroll officers to ensure all payroll instructions and associated data are accurate and correct and are in line with SOX and any other requirements. - Contribute to performance management initiatives, such as ensuring that the appraisal processes and associated activities are managed well and in a timely manner. - Support managers with recruitment and selection activity as required. - Ensure arrangements pertaining to international staff, such as applications for work permits/visas, drafting agreements and liaising with colleagues in overseas offices, are managed promptly and efficiently. - Contribute to the year-end compensation processes as required and in accordance with existing regulations. - Build relationships and work constructively with colleagues in other functional areas, in particular Compliance. - Proactively lead and upskill the wider HR team, through training, guidance and the facilitating of open discussions. - Stay up to date with HR best practice guidance and legislative changes. Skills / Competencies required: Essential: - Extensive financial services experience, preferably within the broking industry and/or experience in a global business. Degree Holder in HR or Equivalent - Strong employee relations experience (i.e. experience in dealing with employees in relation to HR issues like salary and bonus payments, grievance issues and investigations, for example), with a demonstrated ability to confidently lead complex employee relations issues, (focus on disciplinary and grievance processes) with little guidance required. - Strong understanding of industry terminology and regulatory matters in relation to the interdealer broking/financial services industry. - Extensive knowledge and experience of drafting and interpreting employment contracts, with a clear understanding of key terms relating specifically to the inter-dealer broking industry. - Demonstrates involvement in senior stakeholder management at CEO-level across global locations, strong relationship building skills and commercial awareness, coupled with an ability to provide strategic and commercial business solutions. - Sound, up to date knowledge of HR issues and HR best practices in Singapore. - Strong, current knowledge of employment law and existing regulations in Singapore. - Excellent organisational and team leadership skills.
