Position Overview
The role is designed to assist the Head of Management Reporting to devise the Business Plan, as well as support with the annual performance monitoring for the financial metrics, mainly expenses. In addition, the individual will be responsible for various ad-hoc projects, mainly relating to analyzing and presenting various performance levers/drivers for the business.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly business-focused analysis of financial performance for expenses and profits
- Channel performance monitoring reports
- Business forecasts and projections, including Plan and Quarterly Forecasts
- Ad hoc reports based on Senior Management requirements
- To review and implement enhancements in the system and controls over business performance analysis methodology and management reporting processes
- Assisting with the setting of annual expense budgets for the Channels
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience
- Good working knowledge of accounting and financial aspects. Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of insurance (or financial services) operations
- Experience in accounting, financial analyst or financial planning and analysis experience gained in the financial services industry (preferably insurance).
- Experience in working with source systems data extraction and investigation (preferably Oracle)
- ACCA/CIMA or equivalent (part qualified)
- CPA preferred (part qualified)
