Business Analyst for Data & Analytics

Position
In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek a Business Analyst for Data & Analytics projects to join our Centre of Excellence DNA team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented team-player to join a technology team that is responsible of a portfolio of solutions for various business lines of the bank (Risk, Finance, Compliance, Market Risk, Trade Finance, Operations, …). Microsoft SQL Server components are used as core stacks of the solutions designed by the team, to fulfill advanced analytics requirements with a focus on performance and reliability.
Main responsibilities
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Gather business requirements from onsite team
- Assist the local development team by providing functional documentations
- Perform functional testing of the applications before releasing to Production
- Manage the application releases and quality from a requirement point of view
- Maintaining constant link with Paris onshore team in requirement gathering and clarifications
- Elaborate project documentations (Specifications, test strategy, test cases, test reports, …)
- Interact and provide reporting to project managers
Continous Improvement
- Capability to be force of proposal regarding the continuous improvement (such as "automation testing", "data sampling"…)
Qualifications and Profile
Technical - 5-10y experience in delivering fully tested applications within schedule and matching quality objectives
- Ability to provide good detailed requirement documentations to developers
- Knowledge and successful experience in Banking domain
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficient in SQL
- Exposure to reporting and data visualization tools (SSRS, SAP BO, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Tibco Spotfire, Cognos etc)
- Background on banking domain.
Nice to have - Exposure to other data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI)
- Exposure to Capital Market Operations
- Knowledge of Cash Management, Payments
- Knowledge of Project Management (PMI, Agile Scrum, …)
