Our client is one of leading consumer products company based in Bangkok. Due to the expansion, they are currently looking for Corporate Affairs and Communications Director to ensure a strategic approach in the areas of corporate communications, internal communications, issues/crisis management, brand PR, partnership, scientific communications, and purpose related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be working closely with founder and key stakeholders across APAC countries
  • Engage with public policymakers, opinion leaders, trade associations and other key stakeholders to inform, influence, and formulate favourable public policy that protects our freedom to operate and generates opportunity for growth
  • Strategize PR plans for our brands through understanding of the category, our brand positioning, brand compass, customer and trade strategies, marketplace trends and competitive landscape
  • Defines issues, engage with relevant stakeholders to mitigate/manage an issue; ensures business's readiness to handle crisis; communicate clearly and succinctly with internal/external audiences during a crisis; and minimise the impact on the business. Effectively anticipate, monitor, and contain risk, and manage crises that occur if risk
  • External Communication to drive business performance through aligning the organisation; create and execute inspiring and compelling communications for associates focusing on business vision, engagement, objectives, and priorities

Skills/ Experience

  • MBA, Master or bachelor's degree in arts, communication or related with minimum 15 years of relevant experience in corporate communication, Crisis Management and external communication
  • Have an analytical mind and an eye for detail, with a desire to probe further into data, and synthesize it into actionable information with a clear content and messaging
  • Have good communication skills in Thai and English - both written and verbal, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with senior business partners, resolving problems cross-functionally across departments and overseas counterparts.
  • You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving skill. Intellectual curiosity, strong professional judgement, work independently and have initiative mindset.
