Our client is a Swiss-based business management company seeking for a Corporate Secretarial Executive to support the head of corporate services in Singapore.

Summary:

The Corporate Secretarial Executive will handle full spectrum of corporate secretarial work for local and offshore companies and a portfolio of clients

Our Corporate Secretarial Executive will be part of a diverse Group with responsible and driven employees and shall contribute to the development of the Singapore office in a manner that is consistent with our vision, values and strategy, compliant with all applicable regulations and statutory requirements, and in accordance with best industry practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and attend board meetings and general meetings, prepare/file minutes/resolutions accordingly
  • Prepare and lodge documents with ACRA and other government agencies
  • Maintain statutory filings and ensure proper statutory records
  • Liaise with clients, government bodies and other service providers (auditors, tax agents, etc)
  • Work closely with the compliance officer and the client accounting & tax team
  • Handle billing, payments and invoice of client entities.
  • Support opening of bank accounts, change of authorised signatories,
  • Support in the application of work permits
  • Update and maintain Viewpoint database
  • Perform due diligence on the clients with regular reviews
  • Perform ad hoc secretarial duties as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of client experience in the area of corporate services
  • Preferably graduate of SAICSA or currently pursuing SAICSA
  • Degree/Advance Dip/ Dip of Law, Accounting or Business Management or Business Administration
  • Conversant with Singapore Companies Act and familiar with regulatory and reporting requirements
  • PC proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point
  • Good working knowledge and experience with Viewpoint will be considered an advantage
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills - must be dependable, proactive and prompt
  • High degree of professionalism and strong work ethics
  • Resourceful, thrives in a continuous learning environment and has an interest in digital transformation
  • Passionate, able to propose and drive new initiatives to improve the efficiency of the corporate services department
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders
