The Role Responsibilities
- Provide Java/J2EE solution design and lead the delivery working with onsite/offshore team members
- Identifying/Gathering/ Questioning and challenging when necessary/ documenting the NFR (Non-functional Requirements) and interface specific requirements front to back
- Feasibility study, tools identification and completing Java/J2EE PoCs when required
- Identifying golden sources of data
- Collaborate with stakeholders and develop common components
- Improve Java/J2EE code quality statistics, participate/drive code reviews and continuously reduce technical debt
- Hands on knowledge of integrating various systems with different patterns
- Able to identify and tune performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with teams globally to deliver, present ideas and innovate
- Model behaviours that facilitate Agile delivery
- Exhibit passion for client experience with a user-first mindset
- Assist Development & Testing team.
- Able to Design & implement scalable applications
- Strong knowledge of design patterns
- Should be able to implement even driven Microservices with Kafka
- Good Knowledge on No-SQL DB and Relational DB
Our Ideal Candidate
- 12 years of experience in developing enterprise grade products/applications with Java, Microservices, Messaging and Cloud.
- Master's in Engineering or equivalent
Role Specific Technical Competencies
- Java Architecture and solution design
- Web services, API design, Defining Specification
- Messaging (ActiveMQ, Kafka)
- No SQL (Neo4j, Solr etc)
- Cloud Technologies (AWS/Azure etc)
- Spring Cloud Data Flow
- Container Technologies (Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker etc)
- Relational Database (Oracle, Postgres, Mysql)
