The Role Responsibilities
This role sits in the Commercial & Corporate Institutional Bank (CCIB), Client Coverage COO organisation and is responsible for end-to-end management of the Entity Management processes and frameworks including risk management, governance and process / platform change delivery of the Capability/Process.

Strategy

  • To support the end-to-end management of the Commercial, Corporate and Institutional Banking (CCIB) Client Lifecycle operational risk, change and governance framework for Entity Management processes.


Business

  • Understand the main business drivers for success in CCIB for Client Lifecycle Processes
  • Design and lead network-wide initiatives to enhance the Entity Management (EM) capability
  • Support end to end process and governance of EM within Client Central
  • Provide EM subject matter expertise to support Client Lifecycle BAU and change initiatives
  • Support the Client Lifecycle and Design Management (CLDM) change agenda
  • People and Talent
  • Display strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills on a daily basis in implementation of process improvements and risk management.
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure governance and coverage of key risk areas and implement the required controls.


Risk Management

  • Create and/or update Risk Registers (Inherent Risks, Process Controls and Monitoring) and design the residual risk rating methodologies for new processes or for policy changes
  • Identify key risk areas and gaps in processes and suggest improvements and drive the change
  • Critically gather and evaluate operational risk data from multiple sources on monthly KCI (Key Control Indicators), CST (Control Sample testing) and KRI (Key Risk Indicators)
  • Assist with country and Residual Risk Assessments
  • Formulate plans to highlight risks to management, propose preventative actions in order to reduce the likelihood of occurrence and to keep residual risk below tolerance level


Governance

  • Prepare updates for the Client Lifecycle Non-Financial Risk Committee (CL NFRC)
  • Partner with Operational Risk team and other stakeholders to drive the change agenda

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 8+ years of experience in banking or financial services industry
  • Design and lead network-wide initiatives to enhance the Entity Management (EM) capability
  • Support end to end process and governance of EM within Client Central
  • Provide EM subject matter expertise to support Client Lifecycle BAU and change initiatives
  • Create and/or update Risk Registers (Inherent Risks, Process Controls and Monitoring) and design the residual risk rating methodologies for new processes or for policy changes
  • Identify key risk areas and gaps in processes and suggest improvements and drive the change
  • Relevant working experience preferably in CDD/ Operational Risk /Anti-Money Laundering/Audit/Financial Crime and Compliance
  • Highly effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
