JOB OPPORTUNITY
In this position, you will be responsible for growing and delivering new Institutional customer acquisition targets and eventually managing a team of sales. You will support us to establish and build the company and combine your knowledge of the institutional client's market with your business acumen to bring greater brand awareness and increase new customer generation.
You will need to have excellent solution sales and people skills as you will be a part of the Management team, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. To be a successful Head of Business Development, you will need to be highly entrepreneurial, having an extensive network of market contacts and have a good understanding of crypto and digital assets.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following list and may vary during your employment based on the needs of the business, as determined by the CEO:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to bring institutional clients as per the company's business plan targets
- Ensure the best possible service to our clients and partners, and to represent the interests of those clients and partners within the company's ecosystem
- Support and collaborate with the rest of the management team to establish and build the company
- Hire and retain sales resources.
- Assess and develop new client-led product ideas that could deliver significant, long-term revenue potential
- Utilise crypto expertise to devise in collaboration with Product Development and subsequently sell innovative products and services to clients
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- The role involves international travel for roadshows and interaction with stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business / economics or engineering
Experience
- Minimum 10 + year's experience in selling position
- Experience in the crypto and digital asset space
- Extensive experience in sales and relationship management for institutional clients
Skills
- Demonstrable experience in sales and relationship management of institutional clients in the financial sector
- Through understanding of crypto-currencies, digital exchanges and digital assets
- Ability to produce a narrative to customers around a broad portfolio of solutions to help meet business objectives
- Experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
