Our client, a global alternative investment firm is looking for a Senior Legal Member (new HC) to join their fast-expanding business in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- To negotiate of various agreements with counterparties including fund managers and distribution agents
- To draft and review of private fund offering materials, partnership agreements and other private fund legal documentation
- To advise on the legal implications of offering new and existing products and services
- To coordinate with outside legal counsel with respect to a variety of issues including regulatory, corporate and fund investment work
- To review of marketing materials
- To draft and review various contracts, non-disclosure agreements and other legal documentation
Requirements of the Role:
- At least 10 years of experience of fund formation experience within the Investment Management space (Private Equity and Hedge Fund)
- Strong regional exposures in particular key markets such as HK/SG/ China, extensive experience gained from either reputable law firms or global asset management firms
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
