HVAC Energy Optimization Senior Product Manager/Director

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for the success of HVAC Optimization Product, in terms of understanding needs, defining requirement, designing algorithms and working with Software Engineering team to ensure successful product development and performance
  • Define HVAC optimization product scope and requirement for software development team
  • Design algorithms and models for HVAC optimization software product
  • Define test criteria and methods for scope compliance
  • Manage product performance quality and quick resolution of issues
  • Create comprehensive product documentation for software team, product team, deployment team and service team
  • Provide support for pre-sales product technical engagements and assure proof-of-value
  • Provide expert deep-dive product and technology training for internal teams
  • Ensure on-time delivery of products and resolution of issues.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 10 years experience of HVAC system design experience in commercial and/or industrial building applications with at least 3 years of experience with Building Management and Energy management and/or Infrastructure Asset Management products in related Cooling solutions in large 10MW+ system deployment will be a plus
  • Experienced in Control system and algorithm design for HVAC system energy optimization
  • Expert knowledge and skills of existing technologies and industry practices around HVAC systems
  • In-depth understanding of workings of HVAC system, including water-side and air-side systems
  • Experience in Design expertise for end-to-end HVAC systems including water-side and air-side systems
  • Experience in energy efficiency, fault diagnostic, operations and analytics for HVAC systems
  • Experience in designing control logic and algorithms for HVAC systems to achieve optimal performance and energy savings, experience to design algorithm and models
  • Excellent mathematical skills to define formulas for HVAC control system logic
  • Analytical skills to analyze data and draw insights from HVAC system installations, resolve product issues and improve software application performance
  • Experience in Building Automation Control system is preferred
  • Experience in successfully defining and executing product scope and requirement to achieve product success
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders to achieve consensus on complex decisions.
