Role Responsibilities
Job Summary
Senior Test Engineer must work with the test and application teams to understand the application functionality and design, develop test scenarios / cases
- Design and write test cases, requirement trace matrices.
- Reviews functional requirements for testability.
- Un-earth gap in requirements, design specification, application architecture and product documentation.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of delivery of testing assignments.
- Knowledge in both functional and technical tests.
- Follow the test process and continuously improve the quality of the test process.
- Ensure constructive working relationships within team and with other functional group.
- Contribute to define and document test procedures and policies.
- Provide UAT Support to ensure UAT readiness, co-ordinate defects with business and project team.
- Understanding and implementing common framework applicable for both automation and functional test.

- Build and deliver and provide automated script in timely manner.

- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage conflicting requirements and gain consensus on the best way forwards.
- Pragmatic approach, able to simplify processes and implement lean techniques.
Processes
- Design automated test scenarios and scripts.
- Develop tools to assist automation testing.
- Design automated test suite.
- Conduct system automation / manual testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
Risk Management
- Able to manage the risk during testing.
- High light the risk in advance and provide the mitigation strategy.
Governance
- Conducts reviews of testing performed on projects and provide recommendations as required.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Based on project requirement ready to work as individual / team player to deliver the project.
- Hands-on experience in Testing and QA related roles.
- Knowledge in Banking domain.
- Experience in Financial Markets and Client On-boarding domain with end-to-end testing of applications is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in shell scripting and Unix commands.
- Knowledge in SQL Scripts and DB concepts.
- Good communication skills, proactive, positive attitude.
- Knowledge of QA and testing standards, methodologies, test automation tools and processes.
- Willing to take the opportunity to deepen their subject matter knowledge.
