We're looking for a Systems Planning Manager (SD-WAN) who is passionate about state-of-the-art software defined network, security, and optimization technologies, developing and integrating powerful, effective, and efficient networks and managed services.
The ideal candidate has a keen interest in SD-WAN, cloud, IP Networking, Network Security, Linux operating systems and willingness to explore new innovations and technology; working within a team, in a fast-paced and start-up-like environment and be able to collaborate with other teams in solving challenges. You will perform design, test, develop, build support software defined systems encompassing networking, security, and cloud areas.
Responsibilities:
- Systems Planning Manager for managed SD-WAN platform
- Perform Technology and product scan as well as evaluation supporting Business Products in the business case justification and approval
- Conduct Proof of Concepts together with Principal Vendors and Suppliers in evaluation process if need arises
- Responsible for the design and build stage of conventional design and build process in the process of product development
- Responsible for defining and co-ordinating the scope of works with various stakeholders like Architecture Offices, Global Competencies, Product Management, Technical Pre-sale, Global Fulfilment, Global Competencies and so on.
- Responsible in working closely with principal partners for technology knowledge transfer and technology notice broadcast such as End of Life or End of Sale i.e., Release Life Cycle Management
- Work with support teams to ensure efficient fulfilment processes
- Support product feature evolution such as new feature development & enhancement
- Level 3 & 4 support with principal platform partner over bug or software escalation
- Perform Planning and Project Management and Security Engineering roles as assigned to projects
- Preferred CCNP (R&S, Service Provider), Linux, Windows 2012, Openstack, Docker, KVM, VMware certifications or working experiences
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in computer science/IT Technology/Computer Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- 6-8 years of experience in Enterprise/System Integrator/Telco environment
- CCNP or equivalent
- Cisco CCIE, security knowledge will be advantageous
- Good writing and communications skills
